EuroC - Simplicity is the watchword
Euro-Calc of Tottenham Court Road was a company that appeared to have started as an importer and re-seller of electronic calculators and watches, seling what it claimed was the "largest range in London", with Hewlett-Packard, Texas Instruments, Sinclair and Commodore in its roster.

By 1978 it was selling the Commodore PET 2001-8 and the Apple II micros, and towards the end of the year had opened a new dedicated micrcocomputer centre on High Holborn.
Within a year it had launched the EuroC, which was built for it by Plessey Microsystems.
The machine was firmly aimed at businesses with its "computer as furniture" manufacture and extensive list of business software like purchase, sales and nominal ledgers, reporting capabilities and optional stock control and payroll.
It was available for a snip at £8,635, or around £62,000 in 2025 money.
