A Trip to Ickworth House with Sis, Horringer - 19th August 2024

Sis comes down from Devon for a few days, in a visit which overlaps that of Isobel's friend Jules, who's up from Marlborough for a few days as well. On the day that both are around, we go for a walk to the Crossways Inn at Scole - where there's a surprise flyover by the BBMF Lancaster - and then do tapas on the patio. The next day, Nosher and Sis visit Ickworth House for a walk around the grounds and a look around the house, after which we stop by Bury St. Edmunds for a quick visit. Finally, the most advanced DIY project to date - the patio roof - is more-or-less completed.

next album: A Summer Party, and the GSB at Walsham le Willows, Suffolk - 26th August 2024
previous album: Flying in a Dragon Rapide, IWM Duxford, Cambridgeshire - 17th August 2024
