A Walk up Hound Tor, Dartmoor, Devon - 24th August 2020

We go for a walk on the tor that is said to have inspired Arthur Conan Doyle's "Hound of the Baskervilles" - Hound Tor, between Bovey Tracey and Widdecombe in the Moor. We also poke around the nearby remains of the Mediaeval village of Hundatora, abandoned around 1350AD, until the weather kicks off in classic Dartmoor style and completely lashes on us as we trudge back to the car park. We also have lunch in the Tom Cobley in Spreyton, before heading back home the next day.
