The Return of the Pub Walk: Brome to Diss - 24th May 2026

It's our first pub walk for months, as Nosher and the boys head off to the Crossways at Scole, where Isobel meets us having driven over. Nosher and Fred then decide to continue on to Diss and the Ampersand Tap on Sawmills Road, with the initial plan being for Fred to head off to the gym whilst Nosher continues alone back to Brome. However, as we're passing the Tap, The person who from a distance looks a bit like Gaz turns out to actually be Gaz, who's there with Sandie, so instead we both stop for a couple more beers, or diet cokes and cider as appropriate.
