A Night at the Orwell Hotel, Felixstowe, Suffolk - 28th December 2025
Isobel spots that the Orwell Hotel in Felixstowe is doing really cheap room deals, so for a last-minute something different to do we book a night, leaving the boys at home to feed that cats and generally do nothing. Once there, we walk around, have lunch in the recently-refurbished Alba Chiarra restaurant, and in the evening do a pub crawl of two, with a visit to the Grosvenor and then the Alex bar and brasserie on the sea front.
