Harry at the Zoo, Banham, Norfolk - 28th July 2024
Fred's in Europe on tour with the youth orchestra, whilst Isobel's at Latitude, so there's just Nosher and Harry visiting Banham Zoo for the first time in a while. Besides, if you leave it a few months, there's always something new to see - in this case a new snow leopard and some water buffalo. Before that, the BSCC cycles over to the Fighting Cocks at Winfarthing to discover that once again there's only Adnams on, and even worse it's not especially at its best. So we have just the one pint before heading back into Diss and the ever-reliable Ampersand Tap room. Then, on Saturday, there's an organ recital at the church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Eye, where local organ master Tim Patient plays an impressive and diverse set on the restored Binns Organ. Finally, Nosher's out in a ride via Old Buckenham with a return through Winfarthing, again.
next album: An Olympic Road Trip from Diss to Marseille, France - 3rd August 2024
