Derelict-looking buildings on Rose Lane
A Tour of the Cathedral, Norwich, Norfolk - 2nd December 2023
Isobel's off to Norwich to do a first aid course at St. John Ambulance on King Street, so there are a few hours to kill whilst that happens. A walk around, starting at the dodgy bits around Rose Lane, ends up in Norwich Cathedral, where a guided tour is about to take place. Having been to the cathedral possibly hundreds of times over the years, but having never done the tour, it seems like a good idea to do one. It's super-interesting too, and reveals lots of details never before seen and stories never before heard. After the tour, the walk continues around to the mediaeval Cow Tower, and then into the city via the subterranean gloom of the subway under St. Stephen's Street.
