Fred tries out a suit in Marks and Spencer
Isobel sorts out tickets for the Sunday Seisiún at the Irish Centre in Camden Town, which at £6 each for around four hours of music is the bargain of the century - only slightly offset by the £128 it costs us to get there and back by train. The session is in two halves, with the first made up from several bands - Bold Love, Cliffords, Fynch, the awesome Madra Salach (Dirty Dog), Scustin and Wildes - performing two or three numbers each, followed by a slightly-more trad session in the second half, where the bands mix up a bit. Somewhere in-between is "authentic Irish Chinese" food courtesy of Paddy Wok, including a "spice bag", which is essentially a giant portion of very salty chips with some vaguely Chinese food added. In a bag. And given the portion size it was just as well we didn't get one each. Also there is Isobel's friend Caoimhe the Shoe, last seen around nine years ago when we went to Highgate to pick a desk up.
