Trinity Chapel
A Trip to Trinity College, Cambridge - 23rd March 1986
Nosher heads over to see Phil at Cambridge University, courtesy of a lift with Anna in her Austin 1100, and a trip that takes us around the as-yet-unfinished M25, which goes from three-lane motorway to regular roads through tree-lined streets and back. Phil's at Trinity College and it was, if nothing else, a huge contrast to the mostly concrete campus of Nosher's "alma mater", Plymouth Polytechnic. This trip is during the Easter holidays and includes some punting on the Cam, a blow-out feast at "Sweeney Todd's" restaurant (now known as Bella Italia or Newnham Mill by the Mill Pond on Newnham Road) and even an 8mm-cine-film night in Phil's digs, memorably featuring Dire Straits' track Brothers in Arms as its soundtrack.
