Manorhamilton, Sligo and Streedagh Beach, Leitrim, Ireland - 26th August 2026

We're staying in student accommodation at St. Angela's campus of the Atlantic Technical University of Sligo, and after a walk down to the lake to look for an alleged "famine house", which we fail to find, we head off to Manorhamilton for a poke around and to do lunch with the family in Eight Degrees West, formerly known as Ósta in W8. After that, we drive back to St. Angela's before getting the bus from there into Sligo where we meet up with James, Lua and Nick for dinner at Hargadon Brothers restaurant on O'Connell Street. The following day, we check out, head back to Sligo for a look at the abbey and then drive up the road to Streedagh Beach, just outside Grange.
