Castle Dargan's waiting area
It's the last couple of days in Ireland and we've moved across Lough Gill to stay at Castle Dargan for a night - the alternative having been a bell tent in Philly's field. At least the hotel has a bar, and it also has a driving range which Nosher and the boys have a go at the following morning. Then, as we head back in the general direction of Dublin, we stop off once more at Philly and Davida's place, and then again in Glangelvin to look at a vacant cottage we saw in an estate-agent's window in Manorhamilton, then Dublin airport to drop the hire car off, and finally we're back at Da Gorls' house. The next day we roam around Dún Laoghaire for a while, with the boys heading off to do their own thing for a bit whilst we look around the National Maritime Museum of Ireland, and the it's dinner at Zero Zero Pizza on Patrick Street.

Castle Dargan's waiting area
We wait for our apartment
A view of sheep from the apartment
Fred makes fried rice as Harry's on his phone
A stripey cat gives the hairy eyeball
Isobel interacts with Tubby Fog
A lonely tree
A derelict concrete shed
Stripey cat has a sleep
The boys and a pint of Guinness in the hotel bar
Isobel meets cat in the car park
Isobel and Fred do breakfast
Isobel sorts out some golf sticks
Harry at the driving range
Harry whacks a ball down the range
Fred has a swing
Harry puts another ball on a tee
Fred and Harry with Philly's doge
We have a go at axe throwing
Harry flings an axe
Harry tries tightrope walking
Out backup accommodation
Isobel has a cup of tea with Philly and Davida
Fred wanders around inside Glen cottage
Fred roams around outside
The boys consider the original derelict building
Fred and Glen Cottage
Glen Cottage from the field next door
Harry and Isobel on the path back
We have a bit of a car picnic
The toilets of American Stores in Lisduff
Some old car-wash station
Isobel walks back from a snack foraging mission
The joys of Budget rent-a-car
Harry buys another Skullduggery Pleasant book
Painted building in Dún Laoghaire
A late-Victorian building in Dún Laoghaire
A row of early-20th-century buildings
Harry and Fred on George's Street Lower
Building art with a cinema theme
A graffiti'd roller door
A traditional sign on T. Murphy
A diver on a telecomms cabinet
Wall sign art for Ritz Café
Harry and Fred gets some food from Papi Chulo
An impressive window in the old Mariner's Church
A giant optic from a lighthouse
The National Maritime Museum of Ireland
Isobel looks at exhibits
A view of the Mariner's Church from the balcony
An old dude looks up at the giant optic
We wait for the bus on Monkstown Avenue
An old Covid sign
A dude has a coffe outside the Boardgame Café
Wall art on Mike's Bikes
Harry on Patrick Street, on the way to Zero Zero
Da Wheeze scopes out the meno in Zero Zero Pizza
Isobel looks up in the pizza restaurant
More shutter graffiti
Bar life in a mirror in McKenna's
Isobel chats to Jen, as Noddy's checks his phone
The taxi takes us under Dublin's Terminal 2
An SAS Airbus gets pushed back
Gate 106 is quiet
Isobel reads book
Fred comes back with a packet of M&Ms
An Aer Lingus Dash-8 or something
An Air Canada 787 taxis up to its gate
The ennui of an airport departure lounge
Dublin Airport from the air
We wait for the random van to take us to the car
