Castle Dargan Golf, Glangelvin and Pizza in Dún Laoghaire, Ireland - 28th August 2026

It's the last couple of days in Ireland and we've moved across Lough Gill to stay at Castle Dargan for a night - the alternative having been a bell tent in Philly's field. At least the hotel has a bar, and it also has a driving range which Nosher and the boys have a go at the following morning. Then, as we head back in the general direction of Dublin, we stop off once more at Philly and Davida's place, and then again in Glangelvin to look at a vacant cottage we saw in an estate-agent's window in Manorhamilton, then Dublin airport to drop the hire car off, and finally we're back at Da Gorls' house. The next day we roam around Dún Laoghaire for a while, with the boys heading off to do their own thing for a bit whilst we look around the National Maritime Museum of Ireland, and the it's dinner at Zero Zero Pizza on Patrick Street.
