B17 Memorial Visit and Isobel's 100th Park Run, Thornham - 20th September 2025

Isobel's doing her 100th Park Run at nearby Thornham Walks, so Nosher heads down after the race has started to get a few photos. Before that, the neice of the pilot of B17 Finger M Mike, which crashed in the field next to the house in 1943, is back over, so Steve arranges a meeting with the curator of the American Museum at IWM Duxford, which is being videoed for some possible film. After a chat around the memorial, we head down the road to the crash site for another look around. Then, Fred's flute has finished having a complete overhaul, which means a trip down to Stutton near Alton WAter to pick it up.
