A Weekend of Music with the GSB, Gislingham and Thornham - 15th December 2024
The Gislingham Silver Band is action with a couple of performances, ending with a carol service at the church of Mary Magdalene in Thornham Magna. The day before though it's the band's own concert of Christmas music and a few carols, held at the village hall in Gislingham itself. The turnout isn't quite as good as last year, as apparently the performance clashes with the final of Strictly Come Dancing. Nevertheless, the band plays a good set with a load of new stuff, and there is still more audience than band.
