The Castle Inn, near, er, the castle
A Trip to Framlingham, Suffolk - 28th July 2022
It's the summer holidays so we're looking for stuff to do and decide to visit Framlingham again, as English Heritage membership means that at least it's free to go into the castle for a poke around. We also have a rummage around the town and end up in Bulstrode's, which advertises itself as a carpet shop but which actually has quite an impressive range of Lego and other toys going on.
next album: The Eye Piggy Tail Trail and Ipswich Dereliction, Suffolk - 29th July 2022
previous album: A Day at Latitude, Henham Park, Suffolk - 24th July 2022
Inside the castle walls
The boys immediately gravitate towards the shop
A view of the Red House
The boys look over the castle walls
Relics of the Framlingham Brass Band
Harry's looking at bows and arrows
We roam around the market square
There are a load of waving queens in a shop window
A fancy scroll, from 1677
The Framlingham sign, and marketplace
Bulstrode's carpet and toy shop
A couple of kids scoot down Bridge Street
There's an impressive range of Lego in Bulstrodes
St. Michael's Church
Harry flings chestnuts around
The empty Framlingham Conservative Club
A portal to a world of entertainment
Isobel checks out an art exhibition
A well-worn picket fence and a path somewhere
Isobel's at the bar in the Castle Inn
The boys have pub slushies
Fred's on the Rubik's cube again
There are snail trails on Brome village hall's carpet
A game of dominoes occurs
Isobel looks over as Harry gets a lemonade
At the village hall bar
The back field gets combined
Hint: you can use the left and right cursor keys to navigate between albums, and between photos when in the photo viewer
