The Oaksmere: 28 Weeks Later, Brome, Suffolk - 21st March 2021

The Oaksmere, closed like everything else since forever, has gone a bit "28 Weeks Later", with a post-apocalyptic vibe as we wander around the grounds for a bit.

Trees are reflected in the new pond

Trees are reflected in the new pond

We wander about near the main gate

Open for business as usual, or not

Walking past the locked gate

Through the edge of the wood

Out on the balloon field

Crows' nests up a tree

The Oaksmere's pond and gardens

We have a quick look for crayfish

Roaming around near the new reception area

The patio looks like a scene from Logan's Run

The Oaksmere's empty patio

The pirate ship is covered in dead leaves

The boys climb up for a go

Fungus takes over a wooden table

Harry on the pirate ship

The Jolly Conkeror pirate ship

Fred slides out

Harry's up a tree

The boys climb the twisty climbey tree

Fred up a tree

Pink clouds over the garden

Another sunset

Wind turbines in the sunset

Angry sunset over the side field
