Clairesprog Christening, Church of St. Margaret of Antioch, Thrandeston, Suffolk - 19th March 2006
Nosher temporarily returns from working in California on account of a booking to play the church organ for the christening of "Clairesprog", in Thrandeston church. The church is pretty full, although it's also freezing, and despite the numbers there are several quiet bits at the beginning of a couple of the hymns on account of no-one actually knowing the tune or words. Afterwards, everyone musters at the Brome Swan for beer and nibbles.
next album: A Trip to Tijuana, Mexico - 25th March 2006
previous album: Chinatown, Telegraph Hill and Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco, California, US - 11th March 2006
Paul comes in to the church
Uncle Jon does the meet-and-greet
Fam-er-lee, friends and godparents assemble
The godparents do the photo thing
Janice and Uncle Mick join in
Alan chats to Janice
Ian watches as his offspring runs off
Jill looks up whistfully
Pippa gives a look
Colin gives Jill a hug as Apple looks surprised
In the church
Baby Matthew heads off
Wavy eats
The Boy Phil and Uncle Chris
Gathered in the Swan's restaurant
DH and Ninja M
Alan behind the bar
In the kitchen
Claire with Matthew
Alan does a bit of a speech
Paul cuts the cake
A room-full of onlookers
Jimmy's girls
DH does a good impression of Ernst Blofeld
