We've arrived at the Red Lion in Kenninghall
The BSCC - this week being Nosher, Gaz and Fred - head over to the Red Lion in Kenninghall, a trip which turns out to be a bit harder than planned as much of the road from Fersfield all the way to Kenninghall has been unexpectedly resurfaced, and as such is covered in loose chippings which make for hard going. After a couple at the Red Lion, we return via Diss for a stop-off at Ampersand Tap. Then, Isobel's in Diss for a haircut, so there's half an hour or so to hang around waiting.
next album: The Return of the Hog Roast, Thrandeston, Suffolk - 28th June 2026
previous album: A Father's Day Pub Crawl, Ampersand Tap, Diss - 21st June 2026
We've arrived at the Red Lion in Kenninghall
The high street in Kenninghall
Bikes outside the Red Lion
Gaz at the bar of the Red Lion
Fred's got a pint of cider
The sun is low over Kenninghall
Fred and Gaz get ready to head off
Long shadows on the newly-surfaced road
Gaz on Church Street in Diss
A pint of Runner at the Ampsersand Tap
Somebody Gaz knows is handing out birthday cake
Hollyhocks near the doctors' surgery in Diss
The old Barclays bank is a picture of white paint
The crossing to St. Nicholas Street in Diss
A curious extension at the old Weaver's
A view over the Mere
Isobel is a dot at the top of the staircase
