Palgrave Players do Made in Dagenham, Garboldisham, Norfolk - 25th October 2025

After months of rehearsals for the cast, but only two practices with the band - which includes Nosher on Hammond organ and Fred, who as well as flute was playing saxophone after only three weeks of practice - it's time for the actual performance of this year's Palgrave Players production: Made in Dagenham, based on the true story of the 1968 women's Ford Machinist strike over equal pay. Whilst the first night is a bit plagued by issues with the sound, these are all sorted out for the remaining three performances, which all go very well, with the whole thing over in what feels like minutes.

Soundtrack for this album:

next album: End of the Line 1: Dún Laoghaire to Howth, Ireland - 29th October 2025
previous album: Apple Picking, and the Cats' Pyjamas - 18th October 2025
