A Protest on the Beach, Aldeburgh, Suffolk - 1st September 2024

There's a protest on the beach at Aldeburgh, about the proposal to plant giant electricity pylons across the Suffolk countryside. As well as 500 protestors, a local MP and the actor Diana Quick, who reads some poetry, Rick Wakeman also makes an appearance, albeit after we've left to walk up to the town to get a drink from the Co-op. Before that, we spot some scarecrows in Stuston, and then after our visit to Aldeburgh the SYWO is playing another concert at Snape Maltings. Once that's over, we head to Woodbridge for an after-concert feed at Prezzo.

next album: A Quiz, the BSCC at Scole and Eye Heritage Day - 8th September 2024
previous album: The Death of the Feather Factory, Diss, Norfolk - 30th August 2024
