In the Chapelfield car park
A Norwich Trip, and Rob Folkard and Jo at The Bank, Eye, Suffolk - 20th August 2022
There's something of a BBs reunion as Rob Folkard - one-time rhythm guitarist - along with Jo Bowley, the BBs' singer for 20 years or so, play a one-off gig, on account of Rob being back from France for a bit. The gig's at The Bank in Eye, where it's great to hear Jo singing again, and we round off the night with a beer at the Eye Queen's Head beer festival, which is somewhat marred by a bit of a barney which kicks off in the beer garden and which swirls around with a load of pissed-twat bollocks for a while. Before that, we're up in Norwich again, this time with lunch at Ask Italian and visit to the shops of Intu/Chapelfield/Chantry Place or whatever.
next album: Anglesey Abbey and a #StandWithUkraine Demo, Cambridge - 24th August 2022
previous album: Art at The Bank, Eye, Suffolk - 17th August 2022
A Langley's employee drives a dinosaur around
The boys try on shoes in Deichmann
We roam around in Marks and Spencer
A Chantry Place dinosaur
We're at Ask Italian
Fred considers peperoni, or, er, peperoni
The shops of Chapelfield
Harry checks out a new box of Pokémon or something
The boys are checking out a gadget shop
Harry plays Atari Missle Command
Isobel roams around Flying Tiger
St. Stephen's is being rebuilt
Shoes on a random back alley
Street art on a 1960s building on St. Stephen's
The gang wait near Marks and Spencer
A solitary phone kiosk on St. Stephen's
Looking up the closed road
A look inside the derelict Debenhams
The boys are in another clothes shop
The dinosaur on Gentleman's Walk
Harry's outside Orient Express in the market
We roam the lanes of Norwich Market
The market's closed down for the day
WHSmith is in quite a grand building
A busker does his thing on Gentleman's Walk
Isobel and Harry back in Chapelfield
It's sold out at The Bank in Eye
Jo and Rob take to the stage
Rob Folkard on guitar
Jo sings
Jo Bowley on vocals
There's a first-set break outside The Bank
Jo's on the mic
Phil's at the bar at the Queen's Head beer festival
