Cathal's choir/performance group before the gig
Platinum Jubilee Sunday in Palgrave, Brome and Coney Weston - 5th June 2022
It's a busy day for music as Nosher's playing piano for Isobel's choir/dance performance at the Palgrave Jubilee do down at the community centre, then we're over to Brome village hall's do in the afternoon, where it's time for guitar backing for Fred's flute and Isobel's violin in "Brome's Got Talent". After a couple of hours there, it's off to the church of St. Mary near Coney Weston and a songs of praise service with the Gislingham Silver Band the third instrument of the day: a cornet. It's a nice little thatched church with an unexpectedly good organ, and there's a large turnout, which is also surprising as it seems to be in the middle of nowehere - so much so that there's no electricity at the church and we can barely see our music by the end of the gig.
