Nosher and Fred arrive at the marquee
The Gislingham Silver Band at Barningham, Suffolk - 3rd June 2022
The GSB is playing at a Jubilee Fête in the depths of Suffolk, on the playing field of Barningham Primary School. At first it doesn't look like anyone's going to turn up, as there is only a handful of people milling around when the first set starts. However, by the time we've played a few numbers, most of the village seems to have appeared, and the band even gets rounds of applause after every number. There's a bit of a bonus as we get fed with hog roast from a van. Later in the evening, we're down at Brome village hall for a royal-themed quiz.
