Station Road in New Milton
Bernice's Birthday and Walks Around New Milton and Lymington, Hampshire - 10th April 2022
It's an eventful day-and-a-bit as it's Bernice's 80th birthday at the Fisherman's Haunt in Winkton near Christchurch, where there's a bit of a get-together. Before the gig, Nosher has a few hours to kill so goes for a walk down to Barton On Sea, getting back just in time to meet Sean's new girlfriend who's back from Mallorca after winning a silver medal in the sailing world cup. After that, we go for short walk around the boatyards and the river in Lymington, and then Sean and Nosher head off to visit Hamish for a bit before rounding the day off with another beer in the Hourglass and a kebab from the Charcoal Grill kebab shop over the road. The next day, after a short kick-around in the park at Christchurch with Phil, Nosher's on the train back to London Waterloo. This ends up being terminated at Clapham Junction after an hour-or-so's delay, which requires a change of route via Victoria.
