More Frosty Rides and the Old Mink Sheds, Brome, Suffolk - 10th December 2020
There's a proper hoar frost on a morning bike ride, which leaves the trees looking like they're covered in snow. Then there's an accidental straying off the path which reveals the remains of the old mink sheds, metal cages from which are still in Nosher's back garden. Long since derelict, there's a possibly-apocryphal story that at one time the Animal Liberation Front broke in and released a load of mink, which had a really bad effect on the local wildlife.
next album: Joe Wicks and Diss on Saturday, Norfolk - 19th December 2020
previous album: A Return to the Oaksmere, Brome, Suffolk - 8th December 2020
Frosty trees in Thrandeston
Frozen trees and pylons in the distance
The road out of Thrandeston
Looking back towards Thrandeston
Ice from the wires has fallen off in lines
A frozen hedge near Ostler's Barn
More frost on Thornham Road
The junction of Thornham and Earlsford roads
The trees on Thornham Road are white with frost
The road to Thornham
A gate and path off Yaxley Road
Part of a WWII airfield shed
The remains of an old mink shed
Looking down the length of a mink shed
Inside a mink shed
A derelict horse box
A sad cow looks out from its stall
