Clive watches the skies
A Picnic at Clive and Suzanne's, Braisworth, Suffolk - 11th July 2020
It's Clive and Suzanne's wedding anniversary, albeit delayed by a week. In a nice nod to the original event ten years before, Maurice Hammond does a flypast in the Harvard, which we arrive for just in time. After that, Clive takes us out for a spin into Eye on the back of a US Army GMC truck.
next album: The BSCC at Redgrave and Station 119, Eye, Suffolk - 17th July 2020
previous album: A Walk Around Abbey Bridges, Eye, Suffolk - 5th July 2020
The Harvard does a loop
Maurice does a bit of a flying display
The Harvard again
The gang watch the Harvard do its thing
Clive's Willys Jeep
The Harvard heads off
Harry has a swing
A lovely old Morris Minor van
Clive's GMC truck
Harry on the back of an army truck
Clive takes us for a ride in the GMC
A bit of the old Kerrison borstal in Thorndon
The Thorndon Black Horse
The fields of Suffolk
The truck squeezes up the Rookery in Eye
The truck eases out onto Castle Street
The GMC pulls up to the school
Clive takes a photo
The gang outside the school
The church clock
The truck carries on up Church Street
An old Lacon's pub sign
Fred waves at the traffic waiting for the GMC to pull out
