We head off from Ditchingam
A Postcard from Beccles, Suffolk - 2nd April 2017
Following the Bungay Black Dog Festival of Running, we drive over to nearby Beccles for a wander around, and happen to catch up with the half marathon runners who are still stomping around the Waveney Valley.
next album: Comedy Night, and a Village Yard Sale, Eye and Brome, Suffolk - 8th April 2017
previous album: The Black Dog Festival of Running, Bungay, Suffolk - 2nd April 2017
Beccles and the church
The boys head down to the river
Isobel, with a gammy leg, walks down the steps
A bunch of half-marathon runners passes by
Water is handed out
Drinks are offered at a watering station
A runner has a quick rest
The hippies grab some water
The hippies are still together
Another photo of the hippy group
The nave window of St. Michael's
A view from the church
We explore one of the 'scores'
Boats on the river
Beccles shops
Down by the quay
Isobel does Facebook on the bridge
A sad-looking boat
Prezzo in an old cinema
Fred scopes the menu in Prezzo
Fred and Isobel in Prezzo
Prezzo Beccles is a converted cinema
Another view of Prezzo in Beccles
Isobel and Harry head into a closed shop
The remains of the old A143 just outside Brockdish
Isobel pokes a big bonfire with a stick
We have some sort of tea in the wrecked garden
Isobel fishes out a baked potato from the fire
Sparks fly out, as Isobel pokes
Hint: you can use the left and right cursor keys to navigate between albums, and between photos when in the photo viewer
