Redgrave and Lopham Fen, Suffolk - 11th March 2017

There's a first time for everything, and despite being on the doorstep of this SSSI home of the famous Fen Raft Spider and source of both the Waveney and Little Ouse Rivers for nigh-on thirty years, it's Nosher's first time to Redgrave and Lopham Fen.

The gang sets off

A lonely tree

Reeds and Rushes

Reeds on the water

Looking out over the fen

Early blossom

This tangle of trees was reminiscent of a Mangrove swamp

On the path

Harry with his face paint

Fred and Soph the Roph

Harry stumps off on his own

Through the woods, as Isobel looks back

Fred, who looks like Gene Simmonds, has got a stick

Avoiding the ponies

The gang stare at a pony

A pony looks out over the fen

Multiple wellies

Harry gives Isobel a cuddle
