The gang sets off on the shorter trail
Redgrave and Lopham Fen, Suffolk Border - 11th March 2017
There's a first time for everything, and despite being on the doorstep of this Site of Special Scientific Interest for over thirty years - home of the famous Fen Raft Spider, and source of both the Waveney and Little Ouse Rivers - it's Nosher's first time to Redgrave and Lopham Fen.
next album: Digger Action and other March Miscellany, Suffolk and London - 21st March 2017
previous album: Paul's Birthday and other March Miscellany - 6th March 2017
On the fen trail
Reeds on the fen
Reeds in dark water
Isobel and the gang are lost in the reeds
Looking out over the fen
Fred has a close-up poke about
Early blossom
A tangle of trees like a Mangrove swamp
On the path
Harry with his face paint
Fred looks like Gene Simmonds
Harry stumps off on his own
Through the woods, as Isobel looks back
Fred's up a tree
Fred, or Gene Simmonds, has got a stick
Rachel and Anna pass a pony
We stare at a pony for a bit
A pony blocks the path
More ponies in the trees
A stack of logs
Loading up back at the car park
Multiple wellies
Harry gives Isobel a cuddle
