Norwich Station and the Light Tunnel, Norwich, Norfolk - 21st December 2016

Nosher and Harry are in Norwich for a bit of shopping, and down at the station there seem to be a lot of vintage Class 37 locos around. They're actually replacements for Sprinters and Class 315s as used on the Lowestoft line, as despite being built in the early 1960s they're actually more reliable. There's also 37558 - named after the last flying Vulcan bomber, XH558 - whilst Platform 5 has a newer Class 68 with a rake of Mark 2f coaches in BR livery. The photo showing the whole of 37558, itself hauling Mark 2 coaches and with another bunch of Mark 2's in the background, could totally date from the 1980s.

next album: Christmas and All That, Brome, Suffolk - 25th December 2016
previous album: Southwold Seaside Pier, Southwold, Suffolk - 18th December 2016
