An Autumney November Miscellany, Suffolk - 17th November 2013

A round-up of the past couple of weeks, and the building project slowly rumbles on: some of the glass is now up and a bit of the old roof gets re-felted. Meanwhile, Fred's scooting at Thornham, The BBs are playing at The Cock Inn in Diss and Nosher and Isobel spend a night at Lifehouse Spa Hotel, deep in the wilds of Essex in Thorpe le Soken.

next album: November Randomness, Suffolk - 24th November 2013
previous album: A Few Days in Spreyton, Devon - 25-28th October 2013

At the house, the side extension has the bones of a first floor

The conservatory roof is coming along nicely

The view from the scaffolding

A nice oak gable end and some lead detailing

Inside the swimming pool, er, conservatory

A new upstairs

Some particularly bossy geese are roaming around in 'Big Park' at Diss

Harry looks at ducks and geese

Some dude trundles off on a 1982 Lambretta

Fred gets a haircut

Fred models his partial haircut

Down at the Cock, The BBs have one or two cases of gear

A whole pile of band guff

What looks liks mountain ranges from space is actually ice on the roof of a car

Isobel and Fred's pumpkin

It's a building site alright

In the side field, winter wheat pops up

Fred with a collection of dinosaurs and one of his Lego creations

The old roof is wide open as it's re-felted

The courtyard at Lifehouse spa hotel in Thorpe le Soken, Essex

A sort-of self portrait in our room at Lifehouse spa hotel

Fred stands in front of our apple harvest as we drop it off at Greenwood's apples in Carleton Rode

The roof is like a terracotta jigsaw

The conservatory takes shape

Colourful autumn leaves at Thornham

Harry pauses for a moment

Fred climbs about

The walled garden is still closed

Fred contemplates his scooter

Autumn leaves

Fred shows Isobel something
