Grand Designs: Building Commences, Brome, Suffolk - 8th August 2013

The extension project, which has been around a year in planning of both the architect and local-council variety, really kicks off with the digging of footings - some of which are required to be a ludicrous 2.4 metres deep - and the arrival of concrete to fill them, in the form of around four entire cement-mixer loads.
