Chagford and Haytor, Dartmoor, Devon - 11th June 2012

It's days three and four of our trip to Plymouth, Chagford and Spreyton in Devon. First, there's a trip up to Sis and Matt's allotment in Chagford, followed by lunch with Grandma J at the Drew Arms in nearby Drewsteignton. Then, Sis babysits for a few hours so we sneak up to the Globe for a couple of beers. On the following day, it's time to head back to Suffolk by way of a stomp up to Haytor, aided in places by another group which were also climbing with babies (Harry is stuck to the front of Nosher in the Baby Björn). It's totally worth it for the view from the top, and the feeling of achievement, and Fred seems to really enjoy his first "rock climb". After that, as the weather suddenly deteriorates, we amble back along the coast road through Dawlish and stop off at the Anchor Inn in Cockwood for a spot of late lunch before the six hour non-stop drive back to Suffolk.
