Nosher and Fred spot a double rainbow
Paella and Roadworks, Brome, Suffolk - 9th July 2011
Isobel becomes "Paella Queen" and constructs in the paellera for the benefit of John, Allyson, Clive and Suzanne. Meanwhile, the A140 is closed off for a few nights outside the Swan whilst it's resurfaced. Before that, Nosher picks Fred up from Nursery on the bike on the way back from London and spots a nice rainbow as we cycle back through Thrandeston.
next album: The BBs at New Buckenham, and a Village Fête, Brome, Suffolk - 10th July 2011
previous album: The First Anniversary, Southwold, Suffolk - 3rd July 2011
A rainbow over Stuston
The A140 is completely closed at Thrandeston
Machiner waits to get going
The road eater makes a start
A road sweeper cleans up
The tarmac-eating machine scoffs more road
The resurfacing goes on into the night
Resurfacing outside the Swan
Out in the garden, the paellera is fired up
Isobel gets the chicken on
John comes over for a look
Isobel stirs it up
The rice is added
Meanwhile, back at the table: peas are shelled
Suzanne's got a bottle of something
Suzanne tempts Millie with chorizo-on-a-string
Prawns are added
A veritable prawn-fest
It gets chilly, so we eat in the kitchen
Fred in a shoe shop in Diss
