Steve, Sam and Daisy's dad, at The Tree
Sam and Daisy are playing in a gazebo at the Yaxley Cherry Tree, so we head up to watch and have a beer. Then we have an impromptu picnic in between the rain showers, and there's a rainbow and some discarded furniture in the fields of Suffolk; later we bring in another huge batch of plum tomatoes fromthe greenhouse, and Nosher's sister and brother-in-law swing by for the day. Finally, Isobel and Nosher go for a wander up Brome Street to see the church. There's also a photo of the White Horse at Finningham, which has recently been re-rendered on the front, but then the landlord pulled it all off again in some sort of protest against the owners Punch Taverns. It was a classic case of missing the opportunity when it happened, as on the way to work it was all exposed with some protest banner, but it was decided to "catch it on the way back". However, by then it was all covered up again.
