Corfe Castle Camping, Corfe, Dorset - 30th May 2004

Nosher blows the fascist popsicle stand that is life to sort his head out and escape for a bit to the south coast, and an area remembered for school geology field trips: Swanage, Lulworth and Corfe Castle. Part of the reason is also to meet up with Sean, Michelle, Rowan and god-daughter Sydney, so of course Nosher drove 250 miles in less than four hours without even arranging where to meet up, but luckily bumped in Michelle and Syd outside the campsite's reception building. That's planning, that is. Whilst there, it also seemed like a good idea to cycle from Corfe to Lulworth - a distance of only 25 miles or so there and back, but over some face-meltingly steep hills. It took everything just to get back to the campsite, but at least there was a beer festival to sort-of make up for it.
