Lantau Island and the Po Lin Monastery, Hong Kong, China - 14th August 2001
Lantau Island is one of the group of islands near to Hong Kong, and is a 45-minute ferry trip away. Perched high up in the mountains is the Po Lin Monastery, home of a huge seated Buddha.
