There's a massive bracket fungus on a tree
We're getting Fred a tenor saxophone for his recent 18th birthday, with the nearest place being Wood, Wind and Reed in Cambridge. So, for the second time a year that's where we end up, with Fred eventually picking a second-hand vintage Conn Transitional. After that, we head to the market for a lunch snack, and follow that with a trip to Fopp Records on Sydney Street. Before all of that, Nosher's on a morning bike ride when a giant bracket fungus is spotted on a tree near Thrandeston.
previous album: A Visit to the Conservatoire, Leeds, West Yorkshire - 17th October 2026
There's a massive bracket fungus on a tree
Nosher's bike just outside Thrandeston
The church of St. Margaret of Antioch
Fred's got three tenor saxes to try
Isobel looks at clarinets
Fred tries out a vintage Conn saxophone
The Smoking Cow on Cambridge market
Isobel and Fred search for food in the market
Isobel looks around
Cambridge market is quieter on a Friday
There's a very raggedy pigeon
The fountain and The Guildhall in Cambridge
Market Street in Cambridge
Fred and Isobel on Sydney Street
There's a tent in the entrance of a closed-down shop
Looking back up Sydney Street
