Hartismere Carols and the GSB in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk - 14th December 2025

It's a musical few days with the Gislingham Silver Band playing at Abbeygate Manor care home in an enjoyable gig but which unexpectedly involves the band having to sit outside, as the care home, which had only been open for a few months, hadn't really considered how much space a brass band would take out of its concurrent Winter Fair. Almost immediately after the gig, it's time to head over to Occold to play in the band for Dove Players' upcoming pantomime - Sing a Song of Sixpence. Then on Monday, it's Hartismere School's annual carol concert, which Fred's in as well as helping out with, but before all of that it's time to decorate the Christmas tree.
