This year's apple crop is dropped off in Kenton
The Gislingham Silver Band is once again doing the Remembrance Service at Botesdale. Before that, it's time to replace the oil boiler which has sprung a leak in the heat exchanger. It was first installed around 23 years ago so hasn't done too badly really, however as one of the bigger plumbing jobs it's never a good time to have to replace a boiler.
next album: Palgrave Players' Wrap Party, Mellis Village Hall, Suffolk - 15th November 2025
previous album: End of the Line 2: Bré to Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland - 1st November 2025
This year's apple crop is dropped off in Kenton
There's a nice sunset over the side field
Nosher replaces a leaking boiler with a new one
Epic plumbing in the new boiler
The new boiler is installed
The old boiler has become a kitchen island
Isobel finds some nice Wood Blewitts
There's a lone euphonium outside the café
Adrian shuffles some papers
The band assembles outside Santiago's Art Café
Adrian holds up a march card
Mark and Terry: the two drummers
Adrian and the vicar
There's a good turnout for the event
A view up Botesdale's High Street
Botesdale's village sign
Autumn colours thanks to some late-flowering cosmos
Lilly - tiny cat - flops on a concrete slab
Nigel and the Hoxon Hundred are in Morrisons
Houses are re-thatched in Brome Street
