Harry walks along a wall
The Karate/Tae-Kwondo class that Harry's in is doing its annual camping trip to the Harbour Campsite near the sea and the River Blyth in Southwold. There's not actually anything in the way of actual Karate happening, but there are plenty of trips to pubs and an entertaining Treasure Hunt on the Sunday - which includes a side-quest to find a rock which "looks like Sean" - and which goes to show that despite having been somewhere loads of times it is still possible to find things never before seen. In between, we also do pizza at the Lord Nelson with Mirka and Jake, and Nosher and Harry get the ferry over to Walberswick to do a bit of crabbing.

Harry walks along a wall
An old Lowestoft fishing boat waits for renovation
Huts on Blackshore Quay
Isobel and Harry again
A less-conventional hut
A giant tent acts as a boat-building shed
We stop to pick up some seafood snacks
Looking back along the harbour road
The bar of the Harbour Inn in Southwold
Harry looks up suspiciously
Isobel and Harry out amongst the reeds
We pass some curious almost-windowless cottages
Harry ponders his lemonade
Our pizzas arrive at the Lord Nelson
Harry and the gang on East Street, Southwold
The Lord Nelson on East Street
Harry wags a finger
There's a lovely Triumph Herald convertible
A seagull perches on the Triumph
Harry eats an ice cream
We walk along the promenade for a bit
Dog walking on the wide empty beach
Isobel on Gun Hill
Southwold beach huts
Harry stands on a post
All that remains of a derelict house on Ferry Road
Mirka and Isobel walk into the Sail Loft
Golden grasses wave around in the wind
Fun in the sun behind the Sail Loft
Harry's got his heaphones on
Steps up to the sand dunes
Harry and Isobel hang out at the van
The Walberswick ferry waits at Blackshore
A view up the River Blyth
Harry fills up his bucket
The quayside at Walberswick
Harry does some crabbing
Harry peers over the edge
Harry with his string and bucket
The rowing ferry carries some passengers over
There's a seagull explosion near Harry
The ferry office
The ferry loads up for the trip back
Isobel takes a photo from the Southwold side
An 1894 photo of the Southwold Salt Works
We start filling in answers in the Treasure Hunt
The Red Lion on Queen Street
There's another Renault 4 in Southwold
Mill Lane in Southwold
A nice little sun dial on a wall
The castle-like Sacred Heart of Jesus church
A Masonic lodge, hidden away
The Electric Picture Palace
Isobel fills in some more answers
The four-sided Town Notices box
Harry on the High Street
Isobel gets another answer in the Treasure Hunt
Isobel and Harry emerge into Bank Alley
Isobel on Bank Alley
Cool Capital Bosses on Victoria Street
Harry near Adnams Brewery
The Wesleyan chapel on Cumberland Road
Isobel holds up an Irish sports shirt
The Red Lion's, er, red lion
Isobel outside the Red Lion
A grand building opposite the pub
There's an art exhibition on Gun Hill
Isobel roams around the art exhibition
Isobel and Harry wander around
A couple of Karate lads haul a 'rock' up Ferry Road
Isobel in the Sail Loft again
Inside the Sail Loft
We have breakfast by the camper van
The sea thistle is in bloom
Isobel lays out a blanket on the beach
Ferry Road, and the Sail Loft
