The Mary Wallopers at the UEA, Norwich - 28th March 2025

We're off to the Lower Common Room at the UEA to see Irish trad-punk group The Mary Wallopers - ably supported by rock-trad band SexyTadhg - in a raucus gig that was almost ruined by a birthday or hen party group of pissed gobshites that were more interested in whooping and chatting. Luckily they buggered off to the mosh pit after a while. Then, a couple of days later, we're off across the field to see some week-old kittens, one or more of which might become a companion (or annoyance) for Lucy the one-eyed cat.
