St. Stephen's Day in Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland - 26th December 2024

It's St. Stephen's Day - aka Boxing Day - in Monkstown, and Isobel's off down to Seapoint to meet up with Meagan and have a quick dip in the sea. After warming up in a café we then meet up with Noddy, who's bought his dog Maude this time, so we go for a dog walk out on the mudflats at Williamstown, followed by a swift Guinness at Conway's in Blackrock. The next day, we're off to Dublin city so the boys can burn some Christmas money at the Lego shop on Grafton Street, and after pizza at Milano's, we're off to the airport where we discover just after we get there that the flight's delayed by at least 90 minutes. This eventually turns into about three hours, a delay made worse by the fact that it's late and so everything's closed. We finally get home at about 4.30 in the morning.
