Palgrave Players do the White Horse Open Mic Night, South Lopham - 29th September 2024

Fresh from their well-reviewed performances of the musical Once, the Palgrave Players take some of their earlier Celtic Nights music to the open-mic night at the South Lopham White Horse. It's quite a raucous and in places chaotic night, but the music goes down well with the lively crowd. Later, the old Post Office in Diss - constructed in the classic architectural style of many built in the late 1940s and 1950s - has closed up and moved to the other end of town. Then, Nosher and Mick the Brick are up at the Railway Tavern in Mellis where there's a rare Triumph racing car, built on a TR6 chassis. Finally, it's Fred's birthday so there's a Lemon Drizzle cake, and we're in Diss for a car boot sale.
