We cycle up through Wickham Skeith
Camping at Weybread, and the BSCC at Cotton and Dickleburgh - 14th August 2024
We're up at the lake on a couple of days in quick succession, including an overnight stop where the sailing on the following morning is the best yet since the purchase of the new dinghy. Book-ending this are a couple of BSCC rides, both to newly-reopened pubs - the Trowel and Hammer in Cotton, and the Crown Inn at Dickleburgh.
next album: Flying in a Dragon Rapide, IWM Duxford, Cambridgeshire - 17th August 2024
previous album: Olympic Non-Sailing, Notre Dame, and the Journey Home, Marseille, France - 8th August 2024
The church of St. Michael in Cotton
We arrive at the re-opened Trowel and Hammer
The back room at the Trowel and Hammer
Beers in the back garden
The back of the pub is all new furniture
A view from up on the balcony
We head off to the Mellis Railway
Gaz has a proper 'flake with that?' moment
Visiting girls have modified the day diary
Isobel and Harry in Harleston Co-op
Isobel and Harry in the car park
Isobel by the camper van
Nosher pokes about on the boat
It looks like rain for a bit
Overnight camping at the lake
The bar of the Crown Inn at Dickleburgh
The Boy Phil's on the phone
Gaz and Phil outside, as we plan the next move
A solitary cupboard in the yard
Gaz walks through the old timbered coaching arch
The back of the Dickleburgh Crown
Hint: you can use the left and right cursor keys to navigate between albums, and between photos when in the photo viewer
