Diss marketplace in the rain
The Sutton Hoo Ship Reconstruction, The Longshed, Woodbridge - 29th May 2024
We're dropping Fred off for a Suffolk Youth Wind Orchestra rehearsal at Northgate Arts Centre in Ipswich. As we've got Harry in tow, and he's keen on visiting Aardvarks and Dragons - the games shop - in Woodbridge, we decide to head up the A12 for a few hours. Whilst there, Harry watches some dudes playing Bloodbowl with Warhammer figures, then Isobel spots that the nearby Longshed - home of the Sutton Hoo Ship's Company - is open, so we have a look at the ongoing full-size reconstruction of the original Anglo-Saxon ship burial at nearby Sutton Hoo. After that, we eat a small picnic outside then amble back to the car the long way round. Before that, we're in Diss in the rain for a bit.
next album: Fred and the SYWO at the Suffolk Show, Trinity Park, Ipswich - 30th May 2024
previous album: Saxtead Mill, Framlingham Gala and Chips on the Beach, Aldeburgh - 27th May 2024
