LowFest at the Low House, Laxfield, Suffolk - 26th May 2024

It's Nosher's birthday so as a treat Isobel volunteers to drive us and The Boy Phil over to the famous Low House in Laxfield - a pub which dates from the 1500s and which still has its 19th-century configuration, with no bar and beer served straight from the barrel. There's also a beer festival on, so there is even more beer straight from the barrel out in the beer garden - where Gaz and Sandie are already stationed - so we hang out with them for an afternoon of beer and music in the sun. Even the threatended rain fails to seriously materialise.

next album: Saxtead Mill, Framlingham Gala and Chips on the Beach, Aldeburgh - 27th May 2024
previous album: Birthday Shopping in the Rain, Norwich - 25th May 2024
