We're off up Rectory Road again
A Walk to the Swan, Hoxne, Suffolk - 1st January 2024
It's the morning after the night before, and for a change the weather's not rubbish. So, to get outside for a bit we decide to walk to the Hoxne Swan - a return trip of about six or seven miles, up the road and across the fields. Fred stays behind to spend even more time on the XBox, but The Boy Phil tags along too.
next album: Norwich Sushi and Pantomime Rehearsals, Occold, Suffolk - 7th January 2024
previous album: New Year's Eve and a 50th Park Run, Thornham, Suffolk - 31st December 2023
Winter skies over wet fields
Harry and Isobel on the bridge over the River Dove
We walk up the field to Eye Road and Hoxne
Harry and Isobel at the bar in the Hoxne Swan
Harry's on his phone again
A bottle with a couple of pink roses
Architecture reconstructions of the pub
Harry waits in the back corridor
Harry stumps off back to the bar
The Swan's wall seems to gave fallen over
Back on the path up to the Laundries
Some of the fields are really churned up
Poo Pants written in the dirt on a car door
We walk back past the church
