Painting the Set at the Village Hall, Garboldisham, Norfolk - 8th November 2023

The car is due for a service, so we drop it off at Desira in the morning only to discover that there isn't a courtesy car. It's a long walk home, so instead we walk into Diss, have a bit of cake in Flour & Bean, then do the shopping in Morrisons, at which point Isobel walks back to get the car. Then, we're off to the village hall at Garboldisham to help paint the set for the forthcoming Palgrave Players production of The Baker's Wife. There's a lot to do as the previous attempt at a backdrop had to be painted over. For a few days, there's just the two of us, but on the Saturday there's a much bigger turnout from the rest of the cast to help out.
