There's an Elton John tribute act
We wander over to the Oaksmere for Oaktoberfest - a beer festival with food in the marquee. There's also music from Liam Harvey, who we just catch the very end of, and then the band Foreign Locals, who play a very entertaining set including an unexpected version of Darude's Sandstorm on accordion and guitar as a finale. Before that, there's more music in Palgrave Community Centre, where a continuation of the week-long village arts festival sees various performances, including an Elton John tribute and sets from some members of the Palgrave Players.
next album: Tales From The Floods, Bury St. Edmunds and Walsham Le Willows, Suffolk - 20th October 2023
previous album: A Day in Blackrock North, County Louth, Ireland - 7th October 2023
