There's a bit of thatching 're-pointing' in Oakley
A Long Walk and a Long Ride, Hoxne and Kenninghall - 14th September 2023
Isobel's having lunch with "the girls" over at the The Swan in Hoxne, so we cycle up to the village hall in Brome and then walk the remaining three miles or so. We then have a few beers before the lunch, whereupon Nosher leaves them to it and walks back. The next day, it's time for a longer bike ride, featuring a stop at the Old Buckenham Country Park for a sausage roll and a can of fizz, before a loop back via Kenninghall, The Lophams, Redgrave, Wortham, Mellis and Eye - about 33 miles in total.
next album: A Brome Quiz and a Morris Dancing Festival, Norwich - 16th September 2023
previous album: A Postcard From Felixstowe Ferry, Suffolk - 10th September 2023
